in feb 2017, i was promoted to the top spot of my org and was earning 6 figures

by oct 2017, i was fired after an older black man i fired accused me of only firing him because he wouldn't sleep with me. my board couldn't decipher who was telling the truth so we both lost our jobs.

i've been unemployed (for the first time in 20 years!) only surviving off my uber income for the last almost 9 months...my debts are in collections, my credit is in the toilet...my son's tuition is in arrears..i've been traumatized, depressed and barely eating half the time.. and i have no health care...all of my friends and family (including some kind/generous folks from okp) and my kids etc have pitched in to help me stay afloat until i get another job.

i'm close, as i've had 4 interviews for another top spot...waiting to hear any day if i'll get an offer.

if i don't, i'm screwed and will likely have to move, which is what i've been avoiding.

highly successful? i think not. currently, i'm a failure. But i'll be back.
