If you are looking to invest in the cause because you think it's noble, then it might be something that you'd be in to.
But from what I can tell, you would pay 5.5% of your off top. That is CRAZY!!! On top of that, you pay 50% of your earnings in fees (it's a bit more convoluted but that's pretty much it) You've got to get at least a 5.5% return to just breakeven. And that's definitely not a given.
For reference, the standard hedge fund fees are 2% and 20%, and those are considered high fees. A Vanguard mutual fund charges like 0.10%.
It's a terrible investment opportunity. But if you trust that their mission is noble and valid, and want to contribute to the mission have at it.
