i have no idea whos is scam calling me about what. they call from a number that is similar to mine and i just don't answer.

i pretty much don't answer any calls that aren't already saved in my contacts, though.

because sometimes those calls come from recruiters or out of state.

and yeah, if i'm expecting a call from someone who isn't in my phone i will answer them usually. otherwise, leave a message if you're really trying to reach me.

i figured they were calling a whole bunch of numbers at the same time and whoever answers first gets the call. haven't had a message left, yet. i hope they don't start Haha.

They’re not 100% but they’re better than they used to be
With phone calls though, particularly on iPhones, you just have to sit there really.
I can put my phone on do not disturb, but then I get super limited notifications.
It’s a minor inconvenience but I hate ANY inconvenience on something I pay for

I get heated just knowing that i'm essentially paying to marketed to & scammed.
FiOS doesn't offer a decent priced internet only plan...so you pretty much have to have the triple play thing that includes phone service. I guess I could just unplug the phone...but damn...shouldn't HAVE to.

Indian dude said I had to give my personal info to pay thousands in back taxes (I paid my lil $170). He got frustrated when I didn’t fall for the grift, so he said I was gonna get arrested for not paying up, and for cursing at him.

I’ve been getting a bunch of emails from “Apple” saying my account has been locked, or hacked, etc. and that I need to log in to fix it. Always odd wordings and incorrect grammar. Lol. Fucking scumbags.

The idea that someone if they wanted can call from my number AS me is pretty disturbing

We'd get them all riled up and then once they feeling all fuzzy inside thinking they got a sucker we'd tell'em that the address we gave them is next to a police precinct and we'll have them with us to ensure our safety and then they'll just hang up the phone.
