I've noticed there are certain songs that people like/love that I don't - but by bands i generally do love.
Example:
Girl U Want - Devo

Why? This shit sounds like a My Sharona knock-off that Rick Rubin "reduced."
I can exclude songs I've just have heard too much - like I don't love 'Whip It' by Devo anymore - but I don't dislike it as a song.
Do you have any examples?

This one more than anything put me off Phrenology for a while (Break You Off didn't sit well for me either, but The Seed was my main source of hate), especially coming after TFA. Hearing it live a few times and seeing the crowd go nuts I appreciate it a bit more, and I have since come around to the album being one of their better efforts, but to this day I refuse to play The Seed myself
