but I do wear minimalist sneakers to the gym; specifically the Merrell Vapor Gloves. I used to wear the Fivefingers in the past but gave them up because they simply weren't durable enough for the money spent on them. I like wearing minimalist shoes because they are easiest to run with a forefoot stances with compared to traditional sneakers with thicker heels.

Not saying everyone should rock minimalist shoes, especially if they cause you to get injured, but they aren't completely useless either.
