How in the fuck did anyone think that not wearing shoes was better than wearing shoes for your feet, ankles and knees? There were barefoot training for some elite runners ... ON GRASS. If you were into that (also you, Joe Schmoe, are probably not an elite runner), just save the money and run barefoot on grass. Definitely heavier people buying into that BS were totally crazy. When I would see a 5'8", 210 pound guy wearing those, I would just want to shake some sense into him.
