13264113, IMO Nike on average lags behind its running competition Posted by ConcreteCharlie, Wed Jun-06-18 02:13 PM
They go for straight-up step-in comfort for the most part, with the exception of the Zoom Fly and 4% series that they just launched. The LunarEpic was that and could have been more but it had some fatal flaws. The one Nike series I used to love was the Vomero series, from 3 to 6 it was unfadeable. But most of their models are not very structurally sound. The Zoom Fly was cool (very fast, unique build, too) and the Lunar React is a nice step forward (too bad the bball version still sucks), but both have huge durability issues. I wore my Zoom Flys maybe five times and they already started fraying around the sole, and the midsole was riddled with compression marks. For $150 that is pathetic.
