My son joined the middle school running club so my wife took him to Big Peach running and they came home with a $$$ pair of New Balance. After I calmed down I went online and found the same pair, almost 50% less.
I'm a heavy dude and they recommended Hoka Ones, for the cushioning. I thanked them, bought a water bottle and some socks, then copped the Hokas on clearance from Academy Sports online.
