Air Max 1's - the cushioning is kinda stiff
Asics Gel Lyte 5 - very soft cushion
It's gonna depend on your orthotics. New Balance are good whether you under/over pronate because the heel is so wide and flat. They aren't cheap..but we're talking about your knees/shins/ankles etc.
Are you buying to RUN in them, or for style?
