there's no backstory for hulk and black widow that's actually in the movie to make you care more for them than what you see on screen in IW. by not watching the other movies you've missed a total of ten minutes of development, it's not going to shift it for you.

you can tell there's a thing there...and that's pretty much all anyone has.


same for vision and scarlet witch. Their relationship has 10x more time in this movie than in any other.

Tony and Pepper...like, there's a backstory there that runs three movies, but you're not going to learn things that make their one interaction in the flick more meaningful.
