Mero's story is an NYC story. Cardi's story is a NYC story.
Same thing with guys like Bobby Shmurda & Casanova. It doesn't matter if their music or look was influenced by people outside of NYC. Why are these guys talking about shooting everything, then doing a dance immediately afterwards. Ohhh, they're of Caribbean descent... remember when there were people alleging that Bobby was gay? If you grew up in NYC around Caribbean people, you knew how silly that idea was.
