It’s gonna be a loooong ass day.

You want a banana? Tears

Cereal? Real tears

Always happens on weekends too.

How you gonna be mad on vacation?

13249106, how old?

I remember those days. Honestly, i'd trade them for the wake up in the morning on 100 days. My son is 4 and dude wakes up, yawns, and it amped up until its time for him to go to bed.
who wakes up talking about 'super gecko muscles!!"

some days man, especially on weekends for some reason. She just wakes up and ain't feeling it.

Takes her a good 3 hours to get out of a funk.

The problem is we have a 10 month old, so if it ain't one it's the other.

13249127, Mom of a 2 year old checking in. Me: "Do you want this?"

Son screaming with tears all over the place: "Noooooo!"

Me: "Ok"

Son screaming with tears all over the place: "Waaait! "Give meeeee."

Me: "You don't say that. You say, "please."

Son with tears all over the place: "Please"

Me under my breath: Whatever dude.

I know these things are age appropriate, but man.
13249290, don't miss this.

sometimes you miss things about when your kids were young.. this is not one of them.. being able to reason with them and have them deal effectively with their own emotions cannot be lauded enough as a key advantage to them growing the f up.
13249610, LOL! Facts!

he just cries if he needs something. complex emotions have not yet entered the picture.
