I have a teenager in my house who is in many ways useless. I look forward to her learning how to get places on time, and make a whole bunch of decisions on her own. The good thing about college campuses is that when she makes a lot of bad decisions, which she ultimately will, it's a safe environment where those decisions won't have lasting effect.

But it is nowhere near the real world, its just closer to the real world then her current sheltered environment.
