13233790, I just let go of my CDs Posted by bigkarma, Mon Feb-12-18 11:41 AM
I realized, while cleaning out my garage it's been forever since I actually listened to a CD. I had crates of CDs that got moved from home to home, before settling in my garage for years. I made a clean break. I called up local OKP, Tapedeck, and told him they were all his. He may be getting another call soon, as I just uncovered a box of cassettes.
1) What is your primary source of music?
I have a library of MP3s on two external drives and a laptop, but I'm finding I don't even listen to those that much anymore. Basically, I stream.
2) Do you usually listen to playlists?
I use playlists for the gym or I download a mix show.
3) Do you listen to whole albums often?
I will give an entire album a full listen when it comes out. Sometimes I will be in the mood for a classic album and I'll stream it while I work.
4) How do you discover new music?
I have satellite radio, on my car and phone, so if I hear something new I note it and once I can search it out, I do. I also get hip to new stuff here on OKP, AfroPunk and a few other sites and podcasts.
5) What's your primary hardware set up for music?
Phone, tablet and laptop. I have bluetooth earbuds, and external speakers.
