I would rather see a Prince tribute at the Minnesota Super Bowl no matter how hard a stance Prince had taken against it, though no such story seems to be out there. He thought holograms were demonic, and I agree they are stupid, and Timberlake did not use a hologram, so I'm glad he did what he did, regardless of (though also as best I can tell in total vacancy of) an argument from Prince he also would not have liked that.
Prince is dead. I like being reminded that he lived.
edit: to further Be Claro ©, I was posting after several rounds with a bottle of Dickel Rye and in no condition to fight your feelings. But I also think it's bullshit that there's only ever one way to approach an artist's art, even if that artist asserts that's the case.
