what are they talking about in the white house regarding immigration that haiti and nigeria/africa keeps coming up?

i'm genuinely curious. any new immigration/crime stats i should be aware of? i mean i'm glad he's given the mexican rapists angle a break but i assume his base is barely aware of african immigrants even existing. also: are there any states where poor whites are competing with haitians for jobs? what's the angle here?
