There's not much wrong with the shirt, or the kid modeling it, for a parent to be concerned during a photo shoot.

The creative decision and the context is what's wrong.

That's solely H&M's problem, not the parents.

Because you as an individual would dash your child's modeling career, over an arguably innocuous sweatshirt, is an individual choice. A company deciding to perpetuate visualized racial slurs, as the theme of its brand's seasonal campaign, is a choice made upon various levels in a major corporation.
