their shoes fit funny. i think the desert boots are like 1.5 off my normal size and the chukkas are 2 off my normal size.

I bought some Maine Hunting Boots for $38 on ebay last year. They were a size smaller than my normal. The leather upper was in perfect condition. The sole is the majority of the shoe, so resoling them effectively results in a brand new pair of boots.

very nice. True to size, though...so, I hope it works for you with the size down. They feel sturdy as shit, but comfortable. The ankle is padded nicely and I love that the top two lace eyelets are actually the wraparound style joints. Happy with these.

mine came Monday and I wore'em today since it's been raining. really comfy. they do feel heavy duty, which is cool. I'm glad I got this size 12. 13 would've been way too big.

2 small grips. not a fan of the cap in the toe, but it's not a big deal. just something I didn't expect. and I might cut the loop off the back. the loop doesn't let my jeans fall right.

I love that on shoes, boots, whatever.

on one pair of kicks, a pair of timbs that come up just below my calf. otherwise, I'm slicing it off.

Timberland's PRO line is OSHA compliant. Which means they are chunky as hell, full of all the OSHA required fit/finish/features to meet what ever classification category range they fall in.
They are not ideal for sporting with your fresh street gear.
