raped by a man, you should believe her." And the article said 92% of them are telling the truth.
I responded to the Tweet, saying "I get it, but you shouldn't automatically say "ok, she said it, so he did it" and then throw him in jail or punish him" and women were MAD at me. They said that because the stigma of lying is so bad, barely any women would actually lie about it.
But I argued that it also depends on who it is that they're accusing...and that overall, they should ALWAYS be taken serious, and the situation should be investigated. But, that doesn't mean we should automatically rush to say "FUCK THEM FOREVER, KILL THEM, END THEIR CAREER" solely because they're accused.
It's so sensitive, though.
