Finding historical figures who may have expressed certain ideas consistent with one's philosophy and then labeling them with your entire philosophy lacks integrity imo.

I have. See subject line tho. "Considered" a feminist. Please note the meaning of the word "considered" and who is doing the considering and why. Reading someone as a feminist and them identifying as such are different things. Racist white women used the name and tainted it with their speech and actions. Better to use another one.
