I had it in my mind to write a short sci-fi story called "The Last Cracker" about kids going to visit the self-proclaimed last white man in the world and it's this old "white" man living in the hills off in a trailer and like a carnival attraction people pay money to walk through his trailer and see memorabilia from a long gone people who self identify as white.

This story reminds me of that idea.
