Sometimes I think him going down would just make him a martyr to these nutjobs, opening the door for someone even worse.


And because they will stick with him, I don't see the GOP turning on him.

Everything they have "accomplished" could have been done with Pence. The only thing "special" about Trump is his hold on the GOP base.

McConnell is even his bitch on this shutdown for a wall most people don't even want.


I don't think impeachment happens in the Senate.


And even in the House, Dems are slow walking and playing reasonable/measured/pussy as always.


I just don't think we should get our hopes up for anything happening at least until 2020.
