People really, really, really want to believe there are decent Republicans who will step up.
Nah.
The Senate won't do shit.
Barr won't do shit. Best case scenario at this point is Barr, if/when confirmed, just lets the Mueller investigation play out, some of Trumps people go to jail...and that's it.
Maybe, MAYBE, Trump gets impeached by the house....then acquitted by the Senate.
Trump = GOP
No Republican official, cabinet member, or senator is going to turn on him.
I don't think an ex-president gets indicted, but I guess we will see at that point.
