He would take the job for his party. Trump just happens to be the Republican in charge right now.

Again, in a country ran by rich white men, where one of the major political parties is completely brazen with their disregard for norms or even rule of law...and the other major party has historically shown a lack of spine....

Most of us are going to bet that the POTUS isn't going to end up in prison.

Saying that he is going to prison is the more unlikely and radical position to take.
