None of what he said was "under oath" while he was on trial or in front of Congress. Nor was it said in front of some sort of Law Enforcement body, like local PD, FBI, etc.

So I'm guessing he could argue to the FBI that when he said that shit in on TV he was drunk/angry/not in his right mind, so he didn't really mean it. It makes him look bad, but it alone isn't enough proof to "convict" or whatever.
