they meant it when they said shit like 'we will let the people of alabama decide' in regards to the roy moore shit. their moral compass only has 2 directions...win and loss.

they have been flagrantly tearing down democratic norms and values at the state and federal level since obama got elected and havent faced any dramatic electoral consequences. in fact they have been rewarded for it by sweeping victories from their voters.

when our governmental checks on power fail...the ultimate check is supposed to be the vote of the people. once we reach the point that a large segment of our population is completely supportive of greed and corruption as long as its their tribe doing it...im not even sure a democracy can sustain.
