He’s clearly sorry she was offended. He doesn’t remember offending her. And he’s stating that was not his intention. And he wishes to reach out to her so they can clear the air.

Seemed pretty straight forward to me.

Comedians make bad jokes and/or sometimes offend people. Seems like he acted real familiar with someone who he wasn’t familiar with.
