I don't know if he works with him presently, but Kid worked as music supervisor or something similar for Bill Maher's HBO show. I don't know if Bill Maher is still his boss because I haven't watched Bill Maher in years, so I couldn't tell you if Kid is struggling to pay his light bills at the moment.
