13194201, Im torn Posted by BigReg, Wed Sep-13-17 12:52 PM
On one hand it's tough watching a talented dude:
1)Become a white media darling 2)Be teared down by the same media
It reminds me of back in the NWA/2 Live Crew days where all the news stories felt like, 'LOOK AT THESE FUCKED UP N-WORDS, BUT THERE'S SOMETHING KINDA COOL ABOUT EM TOO, HUH?'
On the flip as a culture we've done a thoroughly shitty job of protecting our women and have given out wayyy to many passes on that end. Even if he didn't do any of the horrible things he's accused of if he's on snapchat saying shit like:
"imma fuck ya’ll little sisters in their throats … Anybody that called me a domestic abuser, I’m finna domestically abuse ya’ll little sisters’ pussy from the back"
It's kinda hard to root for the guy.
I like the video tho, even though, going back to NWA/2Live, id like it a little more nuanced and less HEY THIS IS EDGY, with the political theme of how society views white kids vs black.

It's funny you say that, because I remember Binlahab and Anonymous complaining that TPAB was too "in your face" and not nuanced enough. This could just be a generational thing where the youngsters want things to the point w/o guesswork. I think there's more to that than a simple progression of time, but that's another post.

that way theres no confusion on the message. the only way to not get the message is to just not even watch it

13194219, why does this feel like a "He was shot 9 times" backstory? Posted by legsdiamond, Wed Sep-13-17 01:23 PM
i have no idea who this guy is but the brief shit I read on OKP about him has me thinking it's all marketing to get his name out there.
he's the "weird, sick, evil Black kid and we got the victim to prove it"

13194494, Wasn't fond of the "both sides" aspect of it. Besides that, it just Posted by Boogie Stimuli, Thu Sep-14-17 11:26 AM
sounded like a really young person working through ideas without alotta concrete knowledge to inform those ideas... which doesn't make him much different from alotta adults in this age, unfortunately. Overall, it sounded about right for a 19 yr old.
>I like the second song >I like the first song >His album is basura
Word. I like a few songs on his album, and I thought it showed a rare amount of versatility in this era. His songwriting ability really surprised me.
