most times ill will wasnt that serious, you could meet someone irl and see they werent so bad (or play cool irl only to bring up a weirdo grudge later like "when I met you, you werent talking that shit")

it's a combination of a lot of aforementioned things, some people matured (GD never did), some people find social media more productive compared to interacting with the same 25 people here, and some shit on here went too far for people to stomach
