some of are independent but some do still have pimps, "managers", security or whatsoever for obvious reasons especially if they're meeting up with strange "johns"/customers outside the club or traveling out of town.

Remember that scene in Player's Club when Myron followed Diamond home from the club, a lot of that shit happens for real. (side note: the funniest part about that scene in the movie is after all that commotion she still goes inside and catches her cousin Ebony in bed with her boyfriend like how did they not hear that shit?!lol)
