he is the most insipid, over-polished blue-eyed soul act in history. it's a genre i normally (cautiously) enjoy, but nah i can't fuck with him.

also, hasn't his voice gotten higher? i remember on SNL he did some corny joke about people thinking he sounded like a black dude but when that lame ass "sunshine in my pockets" track dropped on the radio i asked "what black lady sings this?"
