when the Uber driver asks how I could end up with someone for 20 years and not marry them...I told him because I was waiting for him.

waiting for him to open his heart...be vulnerable
he wouldn't...and I grew tired of waiting
he knew I loved him unconditionally
that's what hurts the most
that's why I'll forever resent his ass...
