One of the funniest things about it that most people seem to miss is the mother who bursts into the rooms does not have her pants up all the way. It's possible she was either changing or in the bathroom when this whole thing escalated. This adds a level of urgency and dread to the entire thing from her POV and explains the lunge at the end to close the door.

13134172, it looked like an undershirt.. Posted by legsdiamond, Sat Mar-11-17 02:21 PM
I hope that wasn't the nanny because she might be fired.
That toddler walk has me weak.

13134181, The walk was probably the best part. Posted by stravinskian, Sat Mar-11-17 04:48 PM
This post breaks down all the great elements, some of which I didn't originally notice.

13134337, I am wondering out loud if it's racist to have assume that woman Posted by Buddy_Gilapagos, Mon Mar-13-17 11:01 AM
was the nanny?
As oppose to the wife?
Turns out she is the wife. But the children didn't look overly asian and lots of white people have Asian nannies.

13135302, Man, I thought she was the nanny too Posted by flipnile, Wed Mar-15-17 04:02 PM
Just going off her body language in the video. I didn't notice her ethnicity.
|
13135722, I could tell the little kid was Asian..... Posted by denny, Thu Mar-16-17 07:16 PM
But since we're trying to be honest...I kinda dipped into the stereotype of the 'subservient Asian wife' because of how urgent and desperate she behaved. My SO would stroll in with a smile on her face and tell me we're out of diapers.

13134348, Hilarity. Absolute hilarity Posted by spenzalii, Mon Mar-13-17 11:41 AM
One post I saw on this said she came through the door like Kramer and left out like Costanza. That made it even funnier

13134356, This is what working from home really is like Posted by B9, Mon Mar-13-17 12:04 PM
Everyone who doesn't work from home envisions this: https://www.thisoldhouse.com/sites/default/files/migrated/tout-images/home-office-xl_3.jpg
But the reality is closer to what this dude is experiencing. Minus the kids plus a cat with no boundary issues and a washing machine seemingly constantly running, that is my every day.
|
13135301, I had a work call yesterday. Posted by Buddy_Gilapagos, Wed Mar-15-17 03:59 PM
Wife out of town and before the call I put on a netflix movie which I knew would by 90 minutes. Call went 2 and half hours.
I came out the room and my six year old twins decided to give all their stuff animals a bath and soap and water was all over my kitchen and living room and the stuff animals were soaked.
I couldn't be mad because I left them alone for too long.
