letter. Some great statement that really made that person stand out and bumped them up the list. I'd have to then take that thank you letter and incorporate it in the rest of my notes on that person, whether electronic or on paper. Sometimes those notes are within our proprietary system used by HR which makes it a pain. So by the time I've gone through that much trouble, I'm like eff it.
If there is something important, bring it up in the interview or have it on the resume.
