It’s official: the Trump administration will “pull back” from investigating police abuses

Obama’s Justice Department uncovered horrible abuses at police departments. Trump’s attorney general said they’ll “pull back” from such investigations.

The news isn’t unexpected. On the campaign trail, President Donald Trump consistently decried what he characterized as the Obama administration’s aggressive attitude toward the police. Trump argued that the administration’s policies have fostered a broader anti-police sentiment, enabling more crime and violence against cops. And he suggested that he would allow police to be even more aggressive than they are today.

Sessions expressed a similar view. “There is a perception, not altogether unjustified, that this department, the Civil Rights Division, goes beyond fair and balanced treatment but has an agenda that’s been a troubling issue for a number of years,” Sessions said during a November 2015 Senate hearing called “The War on Police.”

When you put it all together, it always looked like the Trump administration would be less likely to launch investigations into local police departments. But it’s still a huge shame. These investigations, although limited in their scope and outcomes, offered crucial insight into just how destructive American policing can be — particularly for communities of color.

I was just listing some of the atrocities that white America has perpetuated on the world.
And it's one thing to do that when white and male was still the dominant global force.
But the world is moving to be more diverse and gender friendly and there's little they can do to stop that.

So I'm not saying these items are the catalysts, I'm saying they're items that the world and people have overlooked to a large degree because of necessity, and I don't see how people that have experienced relative freedom from white male dominance can easily go back to that.

Bannon's ppl want war - Xtians vs Muslims and USA vs China. I'm sure they also want a race war with whites vs any of blacks and browns who wan fi test.

And I'm not sure how they win it or what winning will look like.

it's to solidify their position and power when 2040 comes around and with it a non-white majority america. this administration is most likely about fucking over anyone that isn't white, male, rich, and christian

We had a civil rights division of the DOJ that was actively investigating police corruption, LBGT rights issues and other progressive causes and no one seemed to see how radical and progressive that was.

Thinking this country is gonna give you anything
is insanity at this point. We're either gonna
do it ourselves or it's not gonna get done.

People didn't sacrifice their lives so we could beat a dead horse either. We can live better lives now. The goal has been achieved.

Then even when someone not as horrible as Trump is elected it will be impossible for them to undo all of this shit..
