I mean you are generally right about going tit for tat with Trump being bad but my point is that there are other people in the room that can be used against Trump.

Every time that Trump not answers a question, HRC could have pointed that out an addressed the person like a human being. A genuine back and forth with a real life human being would have been great for HRC and I think Trump is probably incapable of that in a meaningful way.
