No one is insane or has issues. That's not a costume and if it was there no way a little 5 yr old boy should be wearing a girls dress. Period. And yes it's a girls dress made for a girl to be worn by girls.
Next you'll be trying to tell people it's OK for 5 yr old boy to wear girls underwear if the like the colors.
You can keep that logic.
