i knew that going in, so I was EXTREMELY conscientious about what and who I had in my class.
Told the parents, there will be no Princess stuff, of any kind, in any events in my class, and explained why.
They were cool with it
First semester was bomb..kids were great, everybody got along.

One weekend, one of the WASPy kids had a bday party at their home. ALL DISNEY E'ERYTHANG

By Friday of that week, the lil white girls were on the playground mobbing up on the non-white ones telling them they can't be princesses cuz their hair "looks different and they don't look like princesses".

these were 3-4 year old children of affluent, educated, VERY liberal parents.

And similar shit has happened damn near every year
