of white images in media, and most definitely children's programming, has an effect on people/children i'm not sure what to tell you.
a couple weeks ago my 5yo son (who is light bright as a ma'fucka) said out the blue while watching cartoons, "why are there never brown people in cartoons?"
even HE notices that this is an issue.
