yeah i knew about the frame differences. my old bike was aluminum which i loved since i have to take it up and downstairs. already figured i'd suck it up for now with the steel frame and upgrade eventually once i really know that a fixed gear is a good fit for me.

your bike is dope! roughly how much did the upgrades run you? i'm guessing the first upgrade i should go for is the tires.

as for the details on my bike theft and lock. i literally had the same set up as you, kryptonite with the cable. i had it registered but from what i read to get reimbursed the lock needed to be left behind and pics to prove that it had been tampered with. they took the lock too :/
