Maybe I'm not doing the hate for him justice...Cruz' base is the evangelicals...That's what got him into office. And that's been the biggest support base for him...Until arguably the most powerful evangelical voice just came out in support for Trump...
If the people in your own base are looking at you with the screw face AND none of the other Senators are stomping for you, that's saying a lot....
