A few weeks ago, I was walking around and a guy asked me for money and I had a couple of dollars so I just handed them over.
The guy was black but I didn't have the mindset that I was 'helping a brotha out'.
This other guy, a white guy, then starts yelling, "Oh. He's got money for the brother but nothing for me."
I looked at him a little side eyed. I kinda wanted to say something, but he looked like he had been drinking and I didn't want to start anything with him so I walked off.
There was one time that a guy I gave money to, found me again and stuck me up with a gun in the middle of a road without any street lamps. I didn't give anything to a person in need for quite a while after that.
