I introduced myself and we chatted. She had graduated this year. SO I was like, maybe I don't want to know this but...what year were you born?
She was born in 93. 93 was the year I graduated from law school. Law school, which I started at THIRTY. She was BORN 11 years after I graduated from college.
Then at the event I was going to, I met a couple who had also graduated from my school. They graduated 11 years before I did. In 1971. Think about how much closer in age I am to them than I am to the young lady. Now see if you can hold back tears.
