I challenged him to stretch his norms without knowing the crowd or the couple, asked him to make two hours of soul, hip hop, 90s rock, some punk, drum and bass, and even a little bit of hair metal and he rose way above the bar.

I love this place, your lives have been some of the most inspirational lives in my reality. Because before the facebooks, myspaces, twitters, and instagrams it was just people posting and sharing lives. And I think a lot of us that aren't from Chicago, DC, Philly or NYC remember thinking that we were the only "weird" black people out there. This place helped me never to feel alone in the world which eventually lead me finding what I had hoped would be out there.
