Back in Summer of '95, when the song dropped, I was working at a Blockbuster in Oakland. One of my main homies who also worked there was this serious g-shit from LA, and he kept on insisting that the song was wack. So every time I'd see during a shift, I'd say, "For your nation... Yeah.... For your nation... Yeah..." And he'd get pissed and say, "Fuck that. That shit sucks."

Then I went back to school, and the L.A. born and raised co-host for my radio show would try to pop the same shit and big up "West Coast Slaughterhouse." Nope.
