12867113, I know y'all hate Eminem... Posted by Brew, Wed Jul-29-15 10:12 PM
And I can agree with those who criticize the quality of his targets, but he had a battle mentality for obvious reasons, and was probably better at the art of dissing people than anyone lyrically. He did what Nas did with Ether every time out and really drove into the person's soul. Took any possible negative about that person's career and ripped it apart. I do wish he had gone after at least *one* worthy opponent, but he always had a thing about saying anything negative about legends, which would pretty much cut out any of his contemporaries on the mic. But anyway:
Nail in the Coffin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rc_hziEFBfs
"Vanilla Ice, spill the beans and rice I'm eatin' you alive inside, Jesus Christ if you're that much of a gangsta, put the mic down! you should be out killin' mothafuckas right now!"
"You're a fuckin' joke if you was really sellin' coke, well then what the fuck you stop for, dummy? if you slew some crack, you'd make a lot more money than you do from rap"
Then that ending...ruthless.
"here, lemme slow it down for you, so that you can understand if I say it slower: Let it go dogg, it's over"
The Sauce https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_cQ_IZxDHY
"No more Source for street cred, them days is dead Ray's got AKs to Dave Mays' head every issue there's an eight page Made Men's spread would somebody PLEASE tell whoever braids his head..."
That "braids" line always cracked me up.
"No wonder you're sore now lord, or you're bored now I'm pushin' 30, you're kickin' 40's door down"
Then literally the entirety of the last part from "But you know that you'll always see me, on your TV..." is just fucking insanity. My god does he rip that up.

Man he even got at Mariah and Nick Cannon hilariously on that The Warning track he did in like 2009 or whenever it was.
Like I said, say what you will about his choice of targets but for my money no one made me laugh more than this dude on diss tracks.
