If a rain cloud covers my house it covers DC too.
If said rain cloud knocks down a tree and power goes out that power isn't saying oops you're not in DC
Same shitty Pepco people will service it and we'll get power at the same time.
Same shitty pothole people work is being done matter what.
I don't get better/worse metro service when I cross from Takoma Park to Silver Spring
The biggest difference is that I can buy beer in DC gas stations.
