2-3 times an hour

and she will NOT miss her two breaks to go out and smoke

addiction is a mfker

i know someone like that - smokes chronic but not cigarettes and is likely going to end up w/some sort of lung disease. so much coughing.

Ive always seen cigarette smokers with this, not weed smokers...yet.

But she's 50, used to smoke 2 packs a day and states shes down to less than half these days

glad I quit

The best thing smoking cigarettes got going for them it that some people look cool as hell smoking.

There's a lot of negative in them. But when I pull up to work on my bike and I'm questioning my sanity on why I ride daily, I just look and see them and remember the positive I'm doing for myself when the negative is easier.

Everyday she goes out onto the front porch and hacks and coughs her way through a cigarette. It's hard to watch. She has emphysema too

Already have a chronic potentially fatal lung disease, and still smoking.

I have an asthmatic friend who smokes. Taking inhaler puffs between cigarette drags.

She'll go out on the back porch and smoke, then go back in the house and hook up her oxygen again. :-(

...and smokes like a chimney...

he's seems to be doing ok

cigarettes, blunts, crack...fuck it. she's not going to live much longer anyway so why not? she's already on oxygen too? hellz yeah.

i knew a guy who was dying of cancer (not lung cancer) who took up smoking again after having quit 30 yrs. b/c why the hell not? he was terminal. he wanted to enjoy the time he had left and he enjoyed smoking. he reminded me of the old guy in Little Miss Sunshine - except he popped opiates (prescribed to him...b/c why not?). that guy was like a mobile pharmacy - he had everything on him from aspirin to viagra to oxy. lol

One thing I've noticed is how few millenial a smoke compared to the previous generation

Both my parents have smoked cigarettes for 40 years, off and on.
It seems like my mom has a coughing fit while eating or drinking almost daily.
