I'll let you do the research on sexual harassment by non-employees.

CBC was reporting on women in the news being subjected to sexual harrasment coming mostly in the firm of men, alone or in groups, yelling "fuck her right in the pussy" at the newswomen or directly into their microphones. In the midst of that they put Snoop.

It wasn't enough for the camera woman to say how she felt. The reporter prodded her until she commented on Snoop's unknown intentions and his imposing posture, calling it a power play because he is tall (so his state of being was a power play, not his actions). He was not physically imposing himself on her or her female coworker, but he made an insensitive comment while being taller than both she and her female coworker stood nearby. He was almost cuddled up with the guy next to him, but he was still being tall and making rude comments. Sounds like a personal bias coloring one's perception.

At any rate she was thanked and her segment ended when she said she didn't notice it at the time, she would have done nothing differently, and she experiences sexual harassment regularly as a part of her job.

In the middle of a story about groups of men yelling FUCK HER RIGHT IN THE PUSSY at newswomen reporting live, there is a story about an insensitive, unwelcome comment Snoop made and how it is the worst thing ever encountered by that camera woman while doing her job.

Most people don't even realize how he was scapegoated because the story was edited so severely that you would have to go find the rest and piece it together.

Commentary on Shauna Hunt's confrontation with a large group of (white) soccer players yelling FHRITP was completely edited out in favor of the "how dare the big black man say this to me" segment. If I were Snoop I wouldn't apologize for a cotton picking thing.

But you're right, he is a celebrity...a tall rapper at that.

'"It was creepy and awkward but I just laughed it off. Then later on I realized, why does he get a free pass because he's a rapper?" said the CBC's Stephanie Clattenburg, the woman behind the camera.'
